Little Japan宿泊者インタビュー！（ナディア、3ヶ月滞在）

3ヶ月間Little Japanに滞在してくれたナディアにお話を聞いてみました！！

Q, What is your name? (なまえはなんですか？)

Nadia  Smith.

ナディア スミスです。

Q, Where are you from?(しゅっしんはどこですか？)

From Australia ,Karratha, Western Australia.

A 2 hour flight North of Perth.

オーストラリアの西部Karratha出身。

Perthから飛行機で2時間かかるの。

Q, What brought you to Japan?(なぜにほんにきたのですか？)

I came to Japan on a snowboarding holiday in early 2018.

Was lucky enough to find a job in Hakuba so ended up staying for 3 months rather than 2 weeks.

2018年の初めに、スノーボードをしに日本に来たの。

そこでラッキーなことに白馬で仕事が見つかって、結局3ヶ月滞在しちゃった。

I went travelling for 3 months after the season ended in March and am now finishing off 3 months of Japanese language studies in Tokyo.

そのあと、3月にスノーボードのシーズンが終わった後に、3ヶ月日本を旅して、今は、東京での3ヶ月の日本語の勉強が終わるところ。

I am now planning to return to Hakuba in December – I love Japan!

12月は白馬に帰ろうと思っているところよ。日本大好き！！

Q, How many languages do you speak?なんかこくごをはなすことができますか？)

Just the one – English. I can understand and speak a very small amount of Japanese.

英語だけ。日本語は、ほんのほんのちょっとだけ。

Q, What do you do when you have free time?(じかんがあるときはなにをしますか？)

At the moment, study Japanese - it’s a lot harder than I expected!
今は日本語の勉強かな。思ってたよりずっと難しい！

The staff at Little Japan are very friendly and always help me, thankfully.

On the weekends I like to explore the many parks in Tokyo. My favourite is Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.
週末は、東京の公園を見てまわっているわ。お気に入りは新宿御苑。

In Australia I played a lot of sports, often went on the boat with my family or spent time catching up with my friends.
オーストラリアではいろんなスポーツをしていわ、家族とボートに乗りにいったり、あとは、友達と出かけたり。

Q,What have you been doing in Tokyo for three months?(とうきょうにいたさんかげつかんはなにをしていましたか？)

I came here to study Japanese so that’s definitely been my main focus.
東京には日本語の勉強をしに来たの。それが一番の目的ね。

I watched the Women’s Softball World Championships in Chiba last month, that was very exciting.
先月は、女性ソフトボールの世界大会を千葉で見たわ、すごく楽しかった。

I’ve been enjoying the cooler weather in the past few weeks and visiting some parks and checking out some of the shopping areas in Akihabara and Shinjuku.
ここ数週間は、ちょっと涼しくなって、公園に行ったり、秋葉原や新宿などの繁華街に行ったり。

I also stay with a Japanese family on the weekends to try to increase my Japanese abilities
週末は、日本語を話す機会をつくるのに、日本人の家族と一緒に過ごしたりもしたわ。
